To, The Head Office, Human Resource Department, Nepal Bank Limited, Head Office, Kathmandu.
Subject: Request for necessary employees in view of the revised Cash Reserve Ratio
Dear Sir/Madam,
With reference to the circular issued by Nepal Rastra Bank regarding the revision of the Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR), I would like to inform you that the workload of this branch has increased considerably. The revised CRR requires additional daily monitoring of reserve balances, frequent reporting to the Head Office, and proper maintenance of cash and balance records as per the new provision.
At present, this branch is running with insufficient staff. Due to the shortage of employees, it has become difficult to manage the counter service, daily cash reconciliation, and timely submission of CRR-related statements. This may also affect the quality of service delivered to our customers.
Therefore, I kindly request the Head Office to provide at least two necessary employees (one junior assistant and one assistant) to this branch so that the work related to the revised Cash Reserve Ratio and daily banking transactions can be carried out smoothly and within the prescribed time.
I hope the Head Office will consider this request at the earliest and make the necessary arrangement.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
( Signature ) Ramesh Shrestha Branch Manager Nepal Bank Limited, Kathmandu Branch
