Answer
The table shows the monthly sales of three products, A, B and C, of XYZ Company for six months, from January to June, in thousands of dollars.
Total sales rose from 120 in January to 190 in June, an increase of 70, or about 58 per cent. Sales were the same in January and February at 120, then grew every month. The biggest jump, 30, came in March, when total sales rose from 120 to 150. After that, sales rose by 5 in April, 20 in May and 15 in June.
Product A was the best seller in every month. Its sales rose from 50 to 80, an increase of 30, and it earned 400 in total over the six months. Product B ranked second, with a total of 285; its sales rose from 40 to 60, though they fell slightly to 35 in February. Product C sold the least, 225 in total, and it also dipped in February, but it grew fastest in percentage terms, from 30 to 50, an increase of about 67 per cent.
In conclusion, all three products performed better in June than in January, and the company's total sales kept rising, led by Product A.
